  1. BASICS:
  2. The MAIN MENU is operated by pressing each of the push -
  3. buttons. This can be done either by pressing the High -
  4. lighted letter key, or by clicking the LEFT Mouse Button.
  5. To EXIT any window, such as this one, Click the spacebar
  6. Icon button in the upper left corner. You may also use
  7. the ESCAPE key to EXIT...
  8.  
  9. MENUS:
  10. Sub Menus otherwise can simultaneously use 3 different
  11. methods of user interface. You may use whichever is most
  12. comfortable:
  13. 1 >         Click the text with the mouse.
  14. 2 > Move the lightbar with the cursor keys, Press ENTER.
  15. 3 >         Press a Highlighted letter key.

  17. HELP:
  18. Help is available at most functions and menus by clicking
  19. HELP or by pressing the '?' key.
  20.  
  21. PUSHBUTTONS:
  22. At any time during operation, note the status of any push
  23. buttons on screen. The MAIN MENU is actually FIVE buttons
  24. at the top of the screen. If a button is pressed in, you
  25. may not press other buttons... It needs to be released.To
  26. release, press the spacebar Icon in the upper left of a
  27. window, or press ESCAPE.

  29. EXITING:
  30. To EXIT from Collect!, choose FILE. Choose QUIT...

  32. OPEN A FILE:
  33. Otherwise, the first order of business is to open a DATA
  34. FILE. There are some examples supplied. EXIT this HELP,
  35. Choose FILE | OPEN. The current default filename is dis-
  36. played. Choose LIST to see a list of the available data
  37. files. More help is available at that point...
